Open formats, used as contracts.
Instead of inventing its own table shapes, the platform borrows three that the transit industry already shares.
One for each tense.
The plan, the present and the past each have their own standard.
A contract here means a promise about shape. If a table says it follows the standard, every tool downstream can rely on it without asking which vendor the data came from.
